London-based interiors studio Bergman Design House has revealed details for the Mondrian Al Marjan Island Beach Residences in the UAE. Developed by ELEVATE alongside hospitality leader Ennismore, the project will set a new standard in luxury residential and hospitality lifestyle experiences on the Arabian Gulf upon completion in 2028. “Mondrian is synonymous with creativity, culture, and exceptional lifestyle experiences,” says Louis Abboud, regional head of MENA at Ennismore. “Mondrian Al Marjan will bring that DNA to Ras Al Khaimah, redefining luxury living and reinforcing the Emirate’s position as a rising global destination.”

Led by Gensler, the architecture of Mondrian Al Marjan will draw upon regional vernaculars to complement Bergman’s sculptural forms, organic textures, and luminous palettes inspired by the shimmering gulf. Avant-garde artistry and timeless comfort will define interiors beginning with a “cultural gallery” of rotating exhibitions from international artists in the lobby. Anchoring 60,000 square feet of amenities, the Mondrian Sky Lounge will host gatherings both intimate and grandiose against panoramic vistas of the gulf. A circular marble bar will serve as a focal point against a wall of backlit glass discs, while a sculptural glass pendant will illuminate velvet banquettes, sage green armchairs, and a long boule sofa.

In addition to an adults-only pool 200 feet above the sea, a curated beach experience complete with rattan chairs, green-striped banquettes, and scalloped umbrellas will beckon on the coast. The indoor-outdoor fitness center will comprise a covered terrace, pool, yoga and Pilates studios, treatment rooms, and a dedicated contrast therapy suite as well. A dining terrace linked to an infinity pool lined with white baybeds and navy-striped umbrellas will also overlook the sea, as will glass-walled penthouses bedecked with bespoke marble, private terraces, and spa-style bathrooms.
