DAC’s art program at Hilton Jacksonville is grounded in what makes the hotel’s location unique. DAC curated and commissioned abstract compositions that reference the and the lines of the horizon and water movement of Jacksonville’s coastline. The elevator entry mural, created with Jacksonville-based artist Kendall Temotio, was hand-painted in acrylic and refined on site. As Hilton Jacksonville serves a community of medical professionals, patients, and families visiting the Mayo Clinic campus, DAC’s choice of artwork encourages calming moments of restoration.
